Hyeri Yoon

First-Prize winner of the Philadelphia Orchestra Young Artists Competition and third-prize winner of Concours International d’ Execution Musicale in Geneva, flutist Hyeri Yoon’s extensive solo concert engagement have taken her all over the world.

Some of world’s most prestigious venues such as concert with Jean-Pierre Rampal and Julius Baker at Carnegie Hall as a teenager and since then has presented as soloists around the world with Philadelphia Orchestra, St.Petersburg Orchestra, Swiss Romande Orchestra, Winterthur Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra,Shanghai Opera Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfonica de Tenerife.

And as chamber musician, she has been invited at the festival Radio France, Rolandseck, Mt.Fuji Music festival, Pacific Music Festival, the Spoletto Festival and the Seoul Spring Festival in Korea.

Ms.Yoon has been a principal flute of the Orquesta Sinfonica de Tenerife in Spain and the New World Symphony in Miami. She is the founder member of the Prefailles Music Festival and Academy and a faculty Member at the Alp Music Festival in France.

She has released CD recordings "Elegia" by Samsung Classic and "Poulenc" by Sony Classic Korea.

Ms.Yoon holds degrees from The Curtis Institute of Music, Basel Musik Akademie, Manhattan School of Music and Conservatoire Nationale Superieur de Paris.

Ms. Yoon has been flute professor of the Seoul National University in Korea since 2005.
